Compulsory Level Dance for Gymnastics Class
This 45-minute class will cover the dance skills and movements in the compulsory 2, 3, and 4 routines. The focus on proper technique in this class will help compulsory gymnasts continue to progress in future levels with presentation and performance. The Compulsory Dance for Gymnastics Class will increase gymnasts’ confidence, as well as their ability to perform. Each class will consist of:
• Warm up
• Drills, strength and flexibility for turning, leaping and jumping
• Performance and presentation development
• Rhythm and music through different styles of dance

Optional Level Dance for Gymnastics Class
With each gymnast performing a unique routine, the ability to move confidently plays an even bigger role in being a successful competitor at the Optional level. In this 1-hour class, optional level gymnasts will focus on the proper dance technique through different styles of dance with specific attention to the dance elements in their routine. This class will help gymnasts shine and improve their presentation. No matter the gymnastics skill level, a routine with strong dance and performance can captivate and audience and impress the judges. We hope all of our optionals will take advantage of this opportunity!
