Open gym is a great way to experience gymnastics! Come have fun with friends and family playing in the gym, working on your latest skill, or practicing for an upcoming competition!  An instructor will be present to help participants and maintain safety throughout this time.  Open gym is intended to allow fun safe play for all.  Come enjoy one of our open gym times or call to schedule a special open gym for your group!

**Pre-registration is required for this event.**

How to register for this event:

1. Active Participants: For our participants with an active account, you may register for this event via the Customer Portal at, https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/portal/ppLogin.asp?id=516110. You may also register for this event by contacting the Front Desk.

2. Returning Participants: For our returning participants, please contact the Front Desk to reactivate your account. Please note, if your account has been inactive for at least four months, your account is considered inactive. Once your account is active, you may register for this event via the Customer Portal or with the Front Desk.

3. New Participants: For our new participants, you may register for this event by contacting the Front Desk. They will help you create an account and get signed-up for your open gym and open play time.

Please note that payment is required at the time of registration.  If you sign up for an Open Gym and do not notify Achieve Sports in ADVANCE (at least 12 hours) that the participant cannot attend you will still be charged for the Open Gym.

The safety and enjoyment of all our Open Gym participants is the number
one goal of Achieve Gymnastics, therefore we have set up the following rules that
apply to all Open Gym participants.

10 & Under Open Gym Rules

The safety and enjoyment of all our Open Gym participants is the number one goal of Achieve Gymnastics, therefore we have set up the following rules that apply to all Open Gym participants.

  1. All participants must be 10 years old or younger, register in advance through the portal or at the front desk, pay the open gym fee, and have parent/guardian signed waiver on file in their account before they may enter and participate in the open gym/play area.
  2. Parents and/or guardians are required to accompany participants in open gym.
  3. Only an Achieve Gymnastic Staff member or the child’s own parent/guardian can assist and provide instruction. It is recommended that they ask the open gym supervisor for instructional assistance.
  4. Cell phones may only be used in open gym for skill analysis. Participants may not use cell phones while on any apparatus or performing skills. Taking photos of other participants without their consent is strictly prohibited.
  5. All participants should be appropriately dressed in workout attire. Long hair should be pulled back and secured in the gymnastics area. Because of the various ages of our participants, sports bras are inappropriate for open gym settings, unless covered by appropriate workout attire.
  6. The safety of others is everyone’s responsibility, be aware of your surroundings, and others working in the open gym area. This includes no running between events or through areas which others are working in.
  7. Be courteous to others, all equipment must be shared among the participants. If you need assistance with moving equipment, ask the open gym supervisor.
  8. Only perform skills you are ready for. If you need assistance with a skill, ask the open gym supervisor to assist you.
  9. Any activity involving motion, rotation or height may cause serious accidental injury, including landing in the pit. Participate at your own risk.
  10. Non-sanctioned practices are not allowed.
  11. Misbehavior, foul language, taunting & verbal intimidation, gross misconduct, fighting, reckless play, and misuse & destruction of property are not tolerated. Our open gym supervisors have the authority to remove participants from open gym for any of these reasons. Along with immediate or extended loss of facility privileges, if appropriate, further disciplinary action or consequences may take place.
  12. No food, gum, or drink besides water is allowed in the open gym area.
  13. Participants that do not drive should wait within the building until their ride arrives.
  14. Fees are not prorated for late arrival or early departure.
  15. The maximum number of participants for a given open gym/play is 25.
6 & Older Open Gym Rules

  3. Only an Achieve Gymnastics Staff member or the child’s own parent/guardian (if they are a paid participant) can assist and provide instruction. It is recommended that they ask the open gym supervisor for instructional assistance.
